Sinux Group intends to build a charitable arm. This page exists because we would rather state that intention plainly than announce it once it is finished. Nothing here is running yet.
Build something that isn't measured in revenue.
Sinux Group operates two arms today: Consulting builds technology, Capital allocates it. A third is intended — one whose output is not a return. We are taking the time to decide what it should do before we ask anyone to believe in it.
Decide first
A cause chosen carefully is worth more than one announced quickly. That decision is still open.
Build on capability
The Group's useful asset is what it can make. Whatever the Foundation does should draw on that.
Say what is true
No claimed status, no programmes on paper, no numbers we cannot show. This page changes when the facts do.
What the Foundation is not, yet.
Plainly, so there is no room to read more into this page than it says:
It is not a registered entity, and holds no charitable status in any jurisdiction.
It is not accepting donations, and there is nowhere on this site to give money.
It runs no programmes and has made no grants.
It has no cause announced. When one is chosen, it will be named here.
If this is something you'd want to shape, say so.
We are interested in hearing from people who have run this kind of thing before, and from organisations doing work the Group could support. Not from donors — there is nothing to donate to.
